Our VSO Culture Directors plan and direct the creation of decorations for our cultural shows through decoration committees. They also share information about Vietnamese culture during our general body meetings.

Tết Trung Thu

Tết Trung Thu (TTT), also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival/Mooncake Festival/Moon Festival, historically celebrates the end of the autumn harvest. Tết Trung Thu typically occurs during the fall season around September or October. VSO holds an annual Tết Trung Thu show in the fall semester to celebrate, featuring various skits, dances, and performances.

Tết 

Tết, also known as Lunar New Years, occurs at the beginning of the calendar year around January or February and celebrates the first day of the lunar new year calendar. Traditional activities include giving out lì xì, or red pocket money, to children and elderly, and spending time with friends and family. VSO holds an annual Tết show in the Spring to celebrate.
